As I kept looking through my pile of jellyfish references, I started to see these funny little aliens riding inside them! They're a band of singing jellyfishes..

We found this shy little sea dragon observing us from a bank of coral. He was no bigger than my thumb, but one of our explorer friends claimed that, on a dive last year, she'd come across a full grown sea dragon that was the size of three school buses!

Here is my piece for the "Strange Behavior Challenge",
entitled "Bath Time".

I always wanted to join a challenge but never had the chance till now. It was a ton of fun to participate in mostly because of the wonderful community of artists we have here at cgtalk. I can't wait till the next.

This is an illustration I did for Spectrum 14 and Expose 5. When I was a kid, I always loved those adventure stories and movies--especially the ones that take place undersea. This is what inspired me to paint this piece.

This is a painting for our new book "Ancient Japan Sketches". It comes out this December.
This painting was actually inspired by an old japanese fairytale called "Kaguya Hime". It is about a childless couple who finds a baby inside an enchanted bamboo--they raised the baby as their own, and called her Kaguya Hime, who grew up to become an extremely beautiful girl, and later revealed that she was actually from the moon.
It was a nice little story that made me imagine this cute little girl.

I'm still kind of new on cgtalk so I hope you'll leave a comment and say hi. Long time lurker... I've always been incouraged by Bobby Chiu to post more of my works but I guess I'm a bit shy. I'm working on it though.
